Westray Digital Art is a small business run by Phill & Marlene Hellewell we are located (not surprisingly) in Westray, one of Orkneys northern isles.

Westray is an ideal location for anyone with an artistic leaning. The light here is so good with the sun spending much time low in the sky. The land and sea provide often-dramatic subject materials with the weather sometimes displaying all four seasons in a single day! It is no chance then, that many artists come to Westray either to visit or to settle.

The prints available form our online store are either from raw digital photographs or photographs that have been digitally reworked (sometimes extensively) to highlight certain features or moods.

We also have work available as DVD video and CDROMs.

We provide digital art services from photo recovery to DVD authoring and duplication.

We are proud to have been involved in the production of "A Postcard from Westray" promotional DVD for the Westray & Papa Westray Tourist Association. This Video DVD showcases businesses and scenery against a narrative provided by various island residents describing Westray and what there is to do here. The DVD is available as part of an information pack from the Westray & Papa Westray Tourist Association web site at - www.westrayandpapawestray.co.uk.
